IMEL key capabilities are based around the knowledge, skills, and experience of Prof. Chu and his laboratory members.  IMEL has proven experience in managing both small and large-scale projects over the years.  Our skills and expertise can be applied across a spectrum of areas including non-destructive evaluation (NDE), materials engineering, biomedical engineering, experimental mechanics, computer-aided design, manufacturing, and engineering (CAD/CAM/CAE), finite element analysis (FEA), sensors and instrumentation.  Some of the key capabilities of IMEL include:
